To End Dogfighting
Afghanistan is not an easy place for any animal to live. Stray dogs are generally considered to be dirty and dangerous. Worse yet, one of Afghanistan’s favorite pastime is dog-fighting. Dogs used for fighting usually have their ears and tails cut off to make the fight last longer, without any medication. These dogs suffer serious injuries and even death in some cases, the owner of the losing dog will eventually shoot or abandon the injured dog to die slowly from his injuries. The injuries are severe, anything from blood loss, dehydration, exhaustion, or infection days after the fight. The goal is to hopefully put an End to Dogfighting in that country, or at least bring some awareness to this horrible cruelty.
