Recent Cause Activity
The damage, public intimidation, injury, torture, fear, death, shame, peril, etc. which have directly resulted from the deliberate and reckless policies of the Bush Administration have been unacceptable at best, a moral outrage and crime against humanity at worst. Barack Obama, with his expertise in Constitutional Law, needs to make the restoration of the principles and values laid out in the U.S. Constitution one of his top national security issue once he is president. Bush and his lawyers have done much more damage to America's national security than Osama bin Laden and his ruthless mob.

I listened to C. Thomas's statement on the case and I had an impression that he is all for Guantanamo. Under the British law, anyone in the military or employed by the government has to observe international human rights law (i.e., the Geneva Conventions) regardless of where the person is, even outside the British Empire.

The President needs to be reminded that he swore an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States-his administration has been systematically destroying the Constitution since he took office.
