PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the fur trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.
PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and direct action.

The U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP Committee) will “mark-up” S.510, the Senate version of the (sic) “Food Safety” bill on Tuesday, November 18, 2009. This is the last step before a full Senate vote, which could happen in the next few days.

I have homeless cat that I feed every night, they won't come to me so they can not be caught, I eveb had 3 kittens but there is only 1 left she looks to be in good health, but needs shots and deworming and a home. I have to cats of my own that I adopted.

In connection with the various European directives on animals of any kind or they, in conformity with the European Convention, http://conventions.coe.int/Treat... , we ask the Respect and application of the following:
-respect to be
non-pain
Support non-punishable
-Improvement of conditions and treatment in European zoos
-Improvement of Farm Animals
-zero absolute animal + penalties
-commerce and manufacturing, skin and fur strictly prohibited on the ground and by companies throughout Europe
restriction-bullfighting
-restriction on hunting
-restrictions on farm animals
-increased protection of the bear as part of the reintroduction
-increased protection of wolves in the reintroduction
-modification of the law known dangerous dogs
-restriction on use in circuses
-restriction on trade
-enhanced control on illegal trade in all types of animals on the European soil
-restriction on the slaughter
-inexperienced animal
-relaxation and aid the construction of shelters
tattoo-binding on European soil
drop-punishable throughout the EU
-restriction on sacrifice

-euthanasia considered the death penalty except in cases of emergency

My name is Souljah and I'm a rescue. I've lived in two different shelters, in two different states. I'm so grateful that my mom picked me instead of some "pure bred" pup from a breeder. Us shelter dogs are truly the most grateful and also overlooked. Alot of my friends are still without a home and an owner's bed to sleep in, so give us homeless beasts a break and welcome us into your heart and home.
Currently trying to create a policy against children bringing pictures of bloody dead animals to Stanly County Schools, removing kids first kill photos from Stanly News & press newspaper.
