About Support the Lavermans Bringing Hope to Japan

A powerful earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear crisis has opened a spiritual opportunity for typically closed Japanese hearts.

We need your help to reach Japan with the love of Christ.

Please support us in this work through:

Brief History: After moving to Japan in 1999, we began planting a new church in our living room through a Bible study. Denen Grace Chapel has since moved out and into a private hall, grown many times over through salvation decisions and baptisms. This year we will call a national pastor. With his and Denen's partnership, our plan is to plant new daughter churches, that more Japanese might come to know the goodness of the Gospel message.

1. We are working to plant new churches in the Kawasaki/Yokohama area.

2. 99.5% of Japanese are without Christ. Nearly 40,000 commit suicide annually.

3. Japan remains one of the most unreached countries, yet people are remarkably open to Christianity.

4. 40 million people in Tokyo, and 5 million people in Kawasaki are our friends and neighbors.

5. Help us bring the message of hope and forgiveness to our Japanese neighbors and friends.
