World In View strives to enrich and empower the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Southern Africa by working with local partners towards comprehensive healthcare and education.
World In View is a relief, education and development organization working with international partners to meaningfully respond to the needs of the most poor and vulnerable children of our world. Within each small community we serve, thousands of children have lost their parents to AIDS, and many women have lost their husbands. These children and widows have been left vulnerable to further devastations of poverty and disease as they struggle to obtain basic needs such as adequate sources of income, food, clean water, safe housing, healthcare and education. We work in vulnerable African communities towards:
-Providing children with opportunities for safe housing, food security and education by building homes, cultivating vegetable gardens and paying school fees.
-Fighting lethal, yet preventable and treatable illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculoses and malaria.
-Developing income generating activities such as brick making and tailoring.
