About

Investments in early childhood care and education have a higher return on investment than many other social programs. Children in low quality child care environments are more likely to enter school behind in social, math, reasoning, and language skills and emotional regulation. Studies show these deficiencies are rarely overcome, even through eighth grade. High-quality early care and education prepares children for school, social interactions and ultimately for the workforce.
