My wife and I saw you on Barr Trail on the way up Pikes Peak, we regret not stopping and talking and maybe lending a hand. Not that it's a big deal but Pikes Peak is not the tallest in the cont. US...it's Mt. Whitney in CA. Elbert is second in cont. US near Leadville, CO. At any rate, an amazing feat on any 14er and we really hope that you and Nice made it safe and sound!

We met you briefly on HWY 50 in Lone Jack MO. The globe is a clever tool to catch attention. Hopefully your effort pays off big time!!!

Erik
I saw you when you were walking through Forest Park in St. Louis. You were quite a distance away from us - you were walking along side the basin near Art Hill and we were up on the hill by the World's Fair Pavillion. I would have ran down to check it out, but my toddler had other plans :)

I think it's fantastic what you are doing! I lost my mom to diabetes a little over 3 years ago...I am excited for what you are doing to raise awareness about diabetes :)

Erik,
I was traveling along Hwy 50 today and saw you. I thought to myself who is this guy and why the globe. Well then I found my answer in our local paper (Sedalia Democrat). What a wonderful way to bring awareness. May God bless you and give you a good journey on the remainder of your walk to KC and on your future walks. My prayers will be with you.

Hey World Guy,
You came through my town California MO yesterday, was unable to stop and chat. Tried to read your blog but was curious about what your overall goal was and if there was one other then awareness. Also curious if any of this is faith related? Seems to be a fun adventure. Good luck and God bless!!!
