In 2006, God gave me a vision concerning hunger and poverty in our world. The command was clear. help those in need as Jesus directed his followers to do in Mark 10:21. "Jesus looked at him and loved him, 'One thing you lack.' he said. 'Go sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.'"

The term "sacrificial giving," is not a practice with which most of us are accustomed. I realized one afternoon that the value of my wedding ring alone could probably dig a well in Africa and generate enough clean drinking water to potentially save thousands of lives from many surrounding villages.

That was the beginning of With This Ring. Since then, I have personally sold the diamond in my wedding ring, and have had many women commit their rings to this cause as well.

Through the blessings of God and contributions of dedicated friends, we have now established With This Ring, Inc as a non-profit California Corporation and are currently working with a Pastor in Ghana to identify sites for our first well and developing a program to launch With This Ring internationally.
