About ASK: Asking Saves Kids

National ASK Day is June 21st, 2011! Spread the word to other parents about the importance of asking about guns in the homes where your children play by inviting others to join the ASK: Asking Saves Kids Facebook Cause. Please invite all your friends to join the cause--a simple invitation is a great way to spread the lifesaving ASK message.

1. Just talking to your child about the dangers of firearms is not enough. Children are naturally curious.

2. If a gun is accessible in someone's home, there is a good chance a child will find it and play with it.

3. So... ASK if there is a gun before sending your child over to play.

4. If the answer is NO...that's one less thing you have to worry about.

5. If the answer is YES...You must determine if your child's safety is at risk. Guns should be kept in a gun safe with ammunition locked separately.
