Land loss is at an astronomical high for African American farmers by comparison to other farmers. We are attempting to raise both funds and awareness of the cause of this particular family. They are pivotal figures in the fight for social justice across the country in terms of environmental justice and black farmers. They need our help to keep their ancestral farm.
1. Land loss is astronomical for black farmers.
2. Black farmers are losing their land at a higher rate than white farmers.
3. Farming is hard work, and exceptionally so for African American farmers.
