Hello Pangaea Supporters!

We have great news to share : )

First, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Sally Berg as our Executive Director. A social entrepreneur with a broad and diverse set of skills and experiences, Sally Berg will provide The Pangaea Project with the leadership needed to strengthen and expand our impact on the youth we serve and the larger community. We welcome her aboard.

Secondly, we started teaching World CLASS at Open Meadow and Portland YouthBuilders. Mt. Scott's class will start in April. We have some incredible students this year and we are excited to get to know them! Currently at Open Meadow and Portland YouthBuilders, students are learning about root causes of social justice issues. Also Portland YouthBuilders students are devoting time to constructing raised garden beds at Africa House, which is an elderly community center for immigrants and refugees.

Lastly, we have so many volunteer opportunities available. Currently, we need volunteers to help our students fund raise for their International Inspiration trip over the summer. Each student is expected to raise between $300 and $800 from May to June. We are looking for friendly, respectful people who are wanting to spend some time with youth, encouraging them to reach this goal!
