Every child should have access to books from very young to as old as we get. You can never have too many books to read no matter what your age. If they can read they can achieve anything, no matter what life throws at them, and it can reading can be an escape for them.

I don't do many "causes," but this is something I believe. Putting aside all the literacy statistics, every kid should experience the magic that only reading a special book can provide.

i'm a single mom with no income, not on welfare, and get very low cs payments...my daughter 8 month old daughter loves books more than toys and so i am doing everything in my power to make sure she gets books....i was able to buy some and we go to the library. i am so happy that she loves books so much.
Books are the key to entire worlds. I have two beautiful toddlers and can't imagine not reading to them or them not having the books they love so much.
It's a shame to think that low-income children are not being exposed to age appropriate books and education. This cause helps ensure that that happens. Awesome!
