To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential, as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland is a youth develop organization serving children who reside in the most destressed areas of Bradley & Polk County. During these hard econmic times the members of the Boys & Girls Club need our support more than ever before.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland has placed seven different sites located in neighborhoods with a distress indicatior of 10. These are areas where 95 - 100 % of the children are on free and reduced lunches and 35% of the 18 - 25 year olds have not graduated from High School.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland has served to meet the needs gaps by providing an after school program Monday - Friday that focuses on academic success, health & lifestyle programs, and character & leadership development. All programs are implemented by caring professional adult staff with the help of peer leaders.

Without the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland many of these children are destined to repeat the lifestyle of the surrounding community of poverty, followed by destress, followed by low productivity & apathy, followed by drug & alcohol involvement, and often followed by crime. Many will not complete their High School Education and therefore receive a gauanteed lower yearly income.

90% of Boys & Girls Club Alumni graduate from High School. 26% of alumni are likely to earn a college degree. 57 % of alumni say the Boys & Girls Club saved their life.
