The Jeff Katon Scholarship Foundation was created in memory of Jeffrey Paul Katon, beloved brother, son & friend, who was killed in a tragic car accident in August 2006. Jeff was the founder of Aqua Grille & Lounge restaurant on Hilton Head Island and was previously General Manager at Charlies Crab Restaurant.

Since our inception in 2007, we have partnered with Community Foundation of the Lowcountry to raise more than $25,000 for local students attempting to further their education.

2009 - Emily Natoli - Vanderbuilt University
2010 - Madison Howell - College of Charleston
2011 - Continuing Education Scholarships were awarded to each of our three previous recipients in order to continue our tradition of supporting students who strive for excellence
