Our mission is to instill a sense of wonder, respect and stewardship for the Pacific Ocean, its inhabitants and ecosystems, by involving the community and the region in engaging, entertaining, educational, and empowering exhibits and programs on the Pacific Ocean and the lives of its peoples.
We believe that this engaged and environmentally literate public will create a tide of concern that will shift the dialogue about the Pacific Ocean from complacency to action. This will only happen when people come to understand at a deep, visceral level that we are part of nature and now dominate it.
