My name is Simeon Nerelus. I am the Executive Director of the nonprofit HERO - Haiti Emergency Relief Organization. In less than a month, HERO in partnership with the Starlingg Organization
(www.starlingg.org) will travel to Haiti in order to bring much needed relief to many of Haiti's hearing-impaired and hard of hearing children and adults. "For only $ 100.00 we are able to provide a complete hearing aid kit including a year's supply of batteries." Janice S. Combs, Certified in Audioprosthology (Starlingg and Starkey Foundation). Without this HERO/Starlingg partnership, it would have cost more than $ 3000.00 per kit. We are eager to take full advantage of this open opportunity with your help.
This trip will also allow a feasibility assessment for a Haitian Media Center to provide technical training for young people. We are collecting working laptops, computers, media and electronics equipments. HERO thanks you for your continued support which allows us to make a difference in the lives of many families in Haiti.

Hearing aid specialist Janice Combs and I, Simeon Nerelus, will go on a mission trip to Haiti at the beginning of December 2009 in order to:
-- To Help 100 hearing-impaired children with exams and hearing-aids. $100.00 will provide a complete hearing aid kit for a child or an adult.
-- To Set up a Media Center to train young people.
