Support Music National Service

Musicians are service leaders not only because they promote good causes, but because music is service. Music
reaches, teaches and heals. Music is the cause. Music National Service connects the civic engagement power of
trained musicians with real needs in underserved schools and communities. MusicianCorps and MusicianMentors
can also serve as a template for a larger Artist Corps program championed by President Obama.

Please consider donating both your time and your money. Musicians who participate, as suggested below, will be
honored on MNS’s website and through our outreach. The more money we raise, the more children we’ll reach
with quality music education; and the more musicians and artists will join the Music National Service movement.

1. We believe that music can improve lives, build communities and engender global understanding of the common humanity of all people.

2. In August 2009, MNS is launched MusicianCorps, a "musical Peace Corps" and a music volunteer network called MusicianMentors.
