As a program of Variety, The Children's Charity of Texas, Inc., Peaceable Kingdom serves over 6,000 chronically ill and special needs children and their families annually. Operated in partnership with the children’s treating hospitals, service providing agencies and participating school districts, the retreat serves as a place where these children and their families can safely enjoy a wide range of therapeutic, recreational, and educational activities that are age and ability appropriate.
