PS - Pneumonia Sucks

We are attempting to organize a grassroots effort to end the close to four million pneumonia deaths including 2.0 million under five year old child deaths that occur every year.

For too long pneumonia deaths have been ignored.

This cause will start to raise the profile of pneumonia with a campaign to encourage everyone who has an email account to add PS - Pneumonia Sucks to their email signature. By doing so we believe we will spotlight the world's most egregiously ignored disease - the disease you can't spell easily: P-N-E-U-M-O-N-I-A.

Children should no longer die because it is difficult to spell and market P-N-E-U-M-O-N-I-A

1. We must stop ignoring pneumonia deaths.

2. Pneumonia kills more children than AIDS, malaria and measles combined.

3. Pneumonia kills close to two million children under the age of five.
