About Kansas City Siamese Rescue

Kansas City Siamese Rescue, Inc. (KCSR) is a registered 501(c)3 animal rescue group operating in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We work with shelters and other rescue organizations throughout the Midwest to rescue cats and dogs when they are in danger of being euthanized or from the other organizations when they are short on space.

We started in 1998 as a breed specific rescue organization that has grown into something that is bigger than most of us ever could have hoped for. KCSR now averages over 700 animals saved per year with a placement rate annually of over 600 animals. We now focus primarily on Siamese and other exotic breeds, but also take in many other breeds of cats and rescue dogs now as well.

We are an all-volunteer staffed organization and would love to have you on board if you would like to assist with our mission. We are funded solely by the generosity of people who donate to support our mission.

1. To save as many shelter cats and dogs from unnecessary euthanasia as possible.

2. To find loving permanent homes with great families.

3. To promote civic education about spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership.
