Hello Everyone,

James (England), Hanan & Yeara (Israel) got back early this week from their journey deep into the mountains and then north into the jungle and desert to evaluate communities to choose the next recipient of a wind generator from Volunteer WindAid. Glad to see they safely returned with only mild stomach infections and big appetites!

At least one of the communities they visited fits the criteria very well (good wind resources, no electricity or hope to get electricity any time soon, can't afford to buy a wind generator, has a multi-purpose community center/school that would be a distribution point, etc.). Climate monitoring equipment was installed as well. Volunteer WindAid will be installing three more wind generators this year, with nine installations scheduled for 2011!
