About Minnesota Jaycees

The Mission of the Minnesota Jaycees is to provide the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills and social responsibility necessary to create positive change.

The Minnesota Jaycees develops local leaders through community service. We are a cross-class civic organization dedicated to serving our local communities and developing the leadership capacity of young people in those communities.

We engage young people through project management and social entrepreneurship that will make an impact in their communities and build leadership skills.

Jaycees and our networks around the state are responsible for organizing community festivals, fundraisers for charitable organizations, and creating opportunities for community members to engage with one another.

The MN Jaycees consists of 80 local chapters in rural, suburban, and urban areas of the state and our membership is limited to young people between the ages of 18-40 and our members come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
