Donate function seems to be back up and running.... So, I second what Steve (below) has said...a small donation of $10 if you can spare it, can make a big difference.
I started the new year by donating to a great cause: Kids Caring 4 Kids. As little as $10 can make a huge impact. I'll forgo two cups of coffee at StarBucks or turn down my thermostat by 5 degrees for two days to raise the cash! Seriously, $10 can enable a kid to get an education, or drink clean water.
i think that kids caring for kids is such an amazing project. i would love to start up my own, i just dont know where to start.

Update: The pledged donations of $200 has been stalled while we try to fix the 'donate' function on the page. Once the error has been fixed, the pledges will be granted.

When I started to write my last announcment, by the time I sent it 3 new members had joined the cause. Amazing!
I just can't keep up (I am trying to send individual thank-you notes to everyone and I apologise if I miss a few people).
Luckily I have school holidays now, so I have some more time on my hands = )
