Hello lovely cause members, forgive the intrusion but I thought you might be interested in watching a couple of new videos I have posted this week on http://www.youtube.com/BTCVTV. Two are from the team in Scotland of this September's Action Break on the Mull of Kintyre - stunning place for a conservation break. The other i… Read More
You did it!
Just a quickie to say well done and thanks for supporting BTCV's bid to get a permanent slot on the e-philanthropy website, GlobalGiving.co.uk. You have met the challenge targets of 50 donors and £1000 with a couple of weeks to spare! Thanks for your support - financial, social or just being there - it all helps.

GLOBAL GIVING UPDATE
First, thank you! What a bunch of stars you are. BTCV is well on the way to becoming a GlobalGiving partner - and that's all down to you.
Check our progress here: http://www.globalgiving.co.uk/dy...
As of yesterday, the new UK site (with pounds instead of dollars) is up and running, here's the new link: http://www.globalgiving.co.uk/pr...
The message:
BTCV has the chance to become part of top fundraising website globalgiving - but first we have to demonstrate our supporters' generosity by linking with another cause.
We have to get £1000 from 50 people by the end of April. Minimum donation is £6.
Our nominated cause is "Trees for Water for Life" in Cameroon. One of BTCV's partner NGOs struggling to build a sustainable community in west Africa. A bit of a cliche, but together, we really are making a difference.
Please can you help? There are two things you can do:
1] Make a donation
2] Share this message with your mates
Thanks for your time - and well done for your efforts so far.
Only 18 more members needed to hit the big 250!
Invite your friends, your family and those you've added just to make up the numbers and spread the word of BTCV and the wonderful work we do!
SPARE CAMERA? BTCV blogger Ben in Stirling has a broken camera, so no photos on his blog :-(
Get in touch with him if you have an unwanted spare. I'm sure he'll make good use of it: http://btcvstirling.blogspot.com...
Been working for BTCV for only a week and already I'm loving it. The people are great, the office is amazing and the whole ethos of the charity is something to be proud of!
