Jonathan Fields, 43, of Jersey City, is suffering from stage IV, severe congestive heart failure. He was diagnosed in January of this year with less than 12 month to live. Fields will travel to Bangkok, Thailand, to receive adult stem cell therapy treatment, where doctors will use state-of-the-art stem cell processing technology to produce stem cells from Fields’ own blood which will then be infused back into his failing heart. The total cost of the surgery is $45,000, not including the cost of travel and lodging expenses for Fields and a caregiver.
There will be a 5K Walk-A-Thon to Benefit the NTAF Mid-Atlantic Stem Cell Transplant Fund in honor of Jonathan Fields on Saturday, August 15th at 12:00pm at West 83rd Street and Riverside Park in Manhattan, NY . There will be food, beverages and prizes awarded!

If stem cell research could get the funds they needed to further their research...there's a possibility that my grandma wouldn't have passed away from cervical cancer...there's a a possibility that she could have made it through it, with the help of stem cells. Please help me support this cause so that we can save people from these diseaeses and illnesses, so that our loved ones don't have to go through what my grandma went through..
