You can Help a child 2 Stop!

HelpMe2Stop.org is recognized in the IRS Code as a 501c3 charity organization raising money for Trichotillomania aka 'Trich' a 'hair-pulling' disorder affecting millions of people who suffer daily in silence. The mission of HelpMe2Stop is:

1. TO RAISE AWARENESS: of Trichotillomania with the general and professional public on a national and global basis. Making everyone (more) aware of this disorder will through knowledge help create recognition of trich as an authentic issue, helping remove social stigmas and create a safer social environment to urge silent sufferers to come out hiding and seek help.

2. TO ACT AS A LIAISON: between the ‘trich’ community and key product/service providers. HelpMe2Stop is a bridge serving to connect those seeking cures to organizations/product/services that provide answers while, through fundraising, providing financial assistance to sufferers to help defray the cost of treatment.

3. TO EDUCATE: salons, wellness professionals and treatment centers, etc. how contributions (funds, products/services) are appropriated and how the benefits such as - greater exposure, positive company image from association with a cause, possible tax write off for donation, etc.; creating the ‘win-win’ of corporate sponsorship. Provide resources that inform trich sufferers what cures/options are open to them and how former trichsters overcame it and are now participating in fundraisers and other events that support/create a safe place to fall.

4. TO SUPPORT: sufferers as well as salon and wellness professionals informing how to recognize symptoms and guide them in discussing and determining for themselves best treatment options and resources for their situation.

5. TO EMPOWER: through social media, contests, fundraisers, etc. encourage more positive community interaction and discussions; sharing stories in HelpMe2Stop’s Beautrichful eMagazine geared toward 'cause for cure' and acknowledging options and possibilities as opposed to merely venting which encouraging feelings of frustration and helplessness. Applicable knowledge inspires action. Action gets results.

6. TO ENCOURAGE: corporations to sponsor and donate mileages points for HelpMe2Stop’s Global Relief Crew's travel expenses to cities across the world to bringing hope, therapies, treatments, and raising awareness. Guiding key leaders to continue in HelpMe2Stop’s footsteps. Documentaries and highlights of awareness events will be filmed and archives kept in HelpMe2Stop.tv for educational and entertainment purposes.

7. TO IMPACT: millions of lives through knowledge and treatments to permanently stop hair pulling and other anxiety driven compulsions that degrade quality of life; helping create a better world overall. Making a difference so no child/young adult has to grow up feeling insecure, ostracized, and alienated and judged for their appearance.
