In support of "PJ's Audacious Goal" of raising $1,200 for the BCEF, many people have handed me cash or mailed checks rather than posting their donations online. Since I then turn around and post them online, it looks like I have donated all of the funds. To fix that, I am listing all current donors and will update the list as needed over the next week until the Audacious campaign is finished!

PJ's Audacious Goal has been changed. When I first set the goal, I was terrified at the daunting task of raising $1,000 in two weeks from a handful of friends during tough economic times. But I knew that, as tough as times are for us, they are even harder for so many families struggling in the county.

The amount raised over the past several days is over $700, and when I add the pledges outstanding, I know I will make goal. Being truly audacious, I am now raising my goal. The system has about 12,000. Therefore, I am raising my goal to $1,200. One dime per child. Again, I am scared about not making the goal, but...

I'll get by with a little help from my friends! (At least my friends who appreciate the Sgt. Pepper's era of The Beatles...)
