- Female veterans are the fastest growing population of those that are homeless.

- More than 50% of the participants in HomeStep are CHILDREN under the age of 18.

- On any given night in King County, more than 8,000 people are without a home in which to sleep.

1. We walk along side our participants offering intensive services far beyond 4 walls and a roof.

2. In 2009, HomeStep served 191 adults and 247 children on their journey out of homelessness.

3. 80% of program participants moved into permanent housing, beating the national average of 64% for similar programs.

4. HomeStep does not obligate program participants to take part in any type of religious activity in return for services.
