Thirty-eight years old, just diagnosed. I FOUND my LUMP... I could see it too. Lumpectomy this week . . . Radiation in about a month and then possible chemo or tomoxiphen.
i found lump in 1997,had an op in jan 1998 then chemo, then radiotherapy,5 yrs tamoxifen, many many examinations and mammograms, couple of scares along the way,had check up this wk,examination and mammogram all clear and have been discharged after 12 yrs !!!!!!!
My mom was diagnosed on Dec 22,2009. Thank goodness it was caught early however I have 2 aunts whom lost there battle with breast cancer. Early detection is the key and never give up. To my good friend Marisa, diagnosed in July had all the Lymphs on her right side removed and living I mean Living she is almost done with chemo and an inspiration to anyone she meets!
It so important to be AWARE! We need to educate young girls, women and men too!
I have some special friends that have been touched by cancer and by the grace of God they are still surviving
I am 34 years old and I had found a lump earlier in 2009...freaked me out and got checked out...thank godness that it was nothing as of yet, but the clinic I went to was wonderful...they explained everything and even help my hand...thank you to all the women out there who gave me their support and stories of motivation and positive thinking! Please keep the research alive and going strong!
I meant to say breast cancer, I have chemo brain to contend with, I even checked the content before I posted!
I lost my mother to breast cancer, 6 months later I began the battle against breast at age 49, I had mammograms every year, thought that was enough, just take a minute outta your day n check those boobs, it can make all the difference in the world n possible much earlier detection.
