My thoughts and prayers are with the Spielman Family today as they endure their loss of Stefanie a beautiful and strong woman.Cancer survivor Lance Armstrong called Spielman a model of strength and courage."We have lost a leader in the fight against cancer. Her perseverance was unmatchable," he said. "For her sake, we will continue the battle she fought against a disease that claims too many women all over the world."

My dear Mother had breast cancer. She had regular exams and mammograms. She discovered her cancer through self examination. It was a fast growing type of cancer. She did have one breast removed, but she lived. She was cured because she Felt Her Boobies!

Obama obviously did not have family members that have had breast cancer. Tell that to all the women and men who have had cancer and those that had died from it at an early age. I'll keep feeling mine as much as I want. THey are mine and no government will tell me any different. BOOBIES!!!!

I suppose a big insurance company is behind this "task force." Now they won't have to cover mammograms for women from 40-50.

this is CRAZY !!!
Today....Tuesday, November 17, 2009
according to updated guidelines set forth by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.
A (government) task force said Monday that most women don't need mammograms in their 40s and should get one every two years starting at 50 — a stunning reversal and a break with the American Cancer Society's long-standing position. What's more, the panel said breast self-exams do no good, and women shouldn't be taught to do them.
I ask you,what is next ? I don't think that the government knows s**T
If we had been doing this, many women in our country would not be here right now.
