In short, we've started our computer classes with a few machines and a lot of eager kids (Help! Got a laptop you want to get off your hands? Let's talk!!). We've also begun drawing up a map of the communication practices - who talks to whom, why & how - to see where things can be improved amongst the rural farmers.
We're always looking for innovative ideas and benchmarks as well as smart folks such as yourself to come out to Tanzania and scratch your head a bit with us. (Let me know when you'll be coming so we make sure to keep your Kilimanjaro beers cold.) So PLEASE add to the wall, the discussion board or send a drum signal with your thoughts on what we're doing. Keep us on our toes!!
