About Southern AIDS Living Quilt

The Southern AIDS Living Quilt, www.livingquilt.org, is a website that shares video content of women on the front lines of HIV/AIDS. The Southern AIDS Living Quilt provides southern communities’ access to critical information regarding today’s HIV/AIDS challenges. The South has the highest number of adults and adolescents living with AIDS in the United States. The Southern AIDS Living Quilt is a joint project of the Southern AIDS Coalition and Test for Life, designed to raise awareness of the importance of routine HIV screening in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS. The true power of the Living Quilt project is how the shared stories bring inspiration to others. While some are telling their stories for the first time, others have embraced the importance of communicating the changing face of HIV/AIDS.
