About Labs4rescue

Labs4rescue has adopted out over 10,000 rescued or displaced Labrador Retrievers since our inception in 2002.

Labrador Retrievers are the most popular dog breed in the United States. Unfortunately in some regions of the country "backyard breeders" have tried to cash in on this fact, creating a surplus of the breed. Many times these beautiful animals end up in diar conditions or in high kill shelters. In some states, the shelters use gas, an antiquated and painful method of euthanasia.

In addition, many people purchase Labs without understanding the commitment involved. Then the labs are given up and end up in a shelter.

Labs4rescue volunteers work tirelessly to rescue and place homeless Labs with loving families.
