Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services

Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services has been supporting children with cancer and their families since 1998. We believe that no family should experience childhood cancer alone. We support the entire family. To some families, this may mean a teddy bear and quilt to the child in the hospital, financial assistance to the parents to get to and from the hospital, art therapy for children with cancer to assist during the healing process, and counseling and support groups to children, teens, siblings and parents.

We celebrate and mourn the lives of Jacob's Heart children. We send cards and gifts on special occasions such as birthdays, graduations and, yes, weddings. Once a Jacob's Heart kids, always a Jacob's Heart kid. We support the family when a child loses life to cancer. We are there for the family when the child is first diagnosed, during his/her treatment, during follow-up when they return home, and for bereaved families.
