OK, here is our real mission statement: The Atlanta Community ToolBank stewards an inventory of tools for lending to charitable organizations to increase the impact of their mission-related efforts in the community.
The premise is simple: Put the tools for change in the hands of those seeking transformation. Help volunteers strengthen communities– one project at a time.
In 2009, ToolBank equipped over 39,000 volunteers to complete more than 1650 projects across the state.
How can we be in so many places? Through the beauty of shared resources. Over 200 charitable groups access our Tool Lending Program annually, enabling them to complete vital projects while saving crucial funds for use in their core mission.
