Who we help

We give priority to helping families with chronically ill children. These families are frequently under great financial strain when one or both parents are not able to work because of the time required to provide for their child.

Patients and families are eligible to receive assistance irrespective of diagnosis, race, religion, or economic status. Because we prefer to make personal contact with each family, we give priority to those in our local geographic area. However, exceptions and special cases will be considered.

We give priority to families who are referred to us by a social worker or case worker.

How we help

We do not give cash directly to families. Instead we provide products and services, such as (but not limited to)
Meals and groceries
Assistance with transportation
Housecleaning
Home sanitation
Dry cleaning service
Lawn care
Kennel service
Emotional support and prayer
Support for siblings of sick kids

NOTE: We do not interfere in a patient's medical care or the decisions families are required to make. Instead, we help with day-to-day tasks so that families can focus on the medical and emotional needs of patients.

2. Our primary purpose is to support (financial, emotional, resources) families with sick kids (cancer, genetic & metabolic disorders, etc).

3. Support medical research for pediatric brain & spinal tumors.

4. Support local blood drives through the American Red Cross.
