Plea of Hope; for Orphans and Abused Children
Your donation goes to fund this project organized by:
ARK OF HOPE FOR CHILDREN, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
Through a well designed loophole the U.S. government allows the taxation of a tax-exempt organization on property they are not yet actually using. By their definition, our use of this property requires the building of at least one single family home that can house children living in the U.S. foster care system. Our goals for the “Eagles Nest” project are for foster families of children to be able to remain together in single family homes is a lofty one, but oh so needed. They are separated 60-70% of the time. We have had to pay those taxes every year end for 6 years since we do not have the funds to build on the property as of yet.
Should we let the tax man take that property away now that his time is close at hand? I don’t think so. Whether it was for use as our sibling campus or strictly as an investment for God to use to fund our vision, I know that is not God’s will which is why we have continued making monthly property payments for six years. To that end I request your help. $5, $10, $100 or any amount, you can donate through our websites, Facebook and MySpace pages and more.
We are confident and full of faith because we know our goals for helping orphans, abused and neglected children and youth are pure, (James 1:27). Matthew 17:20 reads, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” It’s followed by Matthew 17:24-26, where the men of God were being called on to pay a TAX. Jesus said, “Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”
This message clearly guides us to; “Cast out our line.” With that faith in mind, we share our need with you, who share our passion for orphans worldwide. We reach to you; all of you. Even $5, $10 dollars will quickly add up to cover all of the need and more. Use any of the donor systems right here on the causes.
You have all been such a blessing. Trust me, the children and youth we are able to counsel thank you dearly. We at Ark of Hope for Children have greatly enlarged our vision to include how we can inspire and equip other all around the globe to reach orphans; abused and neglected children and youth whether they be homeless or in foster care. Over 1/2 million people follow our causes and share our passion for hurting, “homeless” children and youth. We plead for you to be the hands and feet of God as he moves this mountain with us. We have the faith, and amongst all of us, we have the funds.

Thank you for the prayers for my wife (Verna) co-founder of Ark of Hope For Children. She is still in intensive care for the past week, but is improving. We hope to be out of there and in to a normal hosital room in 1 to 2 days. After a week in ICU this will be a relief. Well wishes from so many have been a big help to both of us.
