American Family Association, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

AFA is for people who are tired of cursing the darkness and who are ready to light a candle. We are a non-profit (501(c)(3)) organization founded in 1977 by Don Wildmon. AFA stands for traditional family values, focusing primarily on the influence of television and other media - including pornography - on our society.

AFA believes that the entertainment industry, through its various products, has played a major role in the decline of those values on which our country was founded and which keep a society and its families strong and healthy. For example, over the last 20 years we have seen the entertainment industry "normalize" and glorify premarital sex. During that time we have suffered a dramatic increase in teen pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS and abortion as a means of birth control.

It seems that "hate speech" is simply whatever goes against an individual's own personal beliefs. Both sides of any particular issue display animosity (now labeled "hate" speak) against the opposing view. We're all entitled to our own opinion. Personally, I agree with the AFA in that the media has taken to promoting alternative lifestyles as a good thing. That's not what God's Word tells us, but then, if we're gonna talk about sin, homosexuality is no greater nor lesser sin than lying, cheating, stealing, gossiping, etc. Sin is sin and we all have it. I'm just incredibly thankful that in accepting Jesus' death as payment for all my past, present and future sin, I no longer have to deal with the CONSEQUENCES that sin presents. Whew!!

It's funny how when people stand up against something they believe is wrong, without saying anything hateful, they can instantly be labled a "Hate group". Very sad. I have no hate in my heart when I say Sodomy (the homosexual lifestyle) is wrong. I am repeating what the Bible says. I don't hate homosexuals. I hurt for them being stuck in that lifestyle when God has the power to change them.

I do my part to fight against people who don't believe in gay marriage.
What I do is, I lurk around churches -- mainly during the holidays -- and when I see a cute guy hanging out by himself and praying, I try to seduce him or get him drunk and then convince him to have homosexual sex with me.

I turn christian straight men gay.
It's so fun.
I love sodomy.

It's like this, the AFA is not a Hate group otherwise I wouldn't be a part of it. I am a Christian standing up for what I believe is right. We don't push our views on others. I will say I do not endorse the gay/lesbian lifestyle but I do love the people involved in them. Actually to even think about it grosses me out - but that's not the issue. Christians do have an obligation to do what God says and he said love people...but He also said to hate sin!

You people really make me laugh! For one I used to work for Pepsi, there a great company and help many groups not just homosexual ones! I get so tired of hearing this stupid bull shit hate speech from punk ass groups like this one all the time. Really do you people not have anything else better to do? Do your selves all a favor and just shut up and let it go! America has got enough problems with out the hate speech all the time. This is one of the main reasons why I moved from the country. I will admit I'm gay my self, but there is not god damn thing any of you can do about it! How about doing what your "God" tells you and just love your fellow man for once? This is the very reason I'm atheist! Oh also Coke is a huge supporter of gay rights also. Just so ya know. ;) Have a lovely day!

Well Amy that is because Pepsi is gaining with the sale campaign. Coke doesn't put theirs on sale all the time. I don;t drink Pepsi because it has something in it that is worst for people who suffer from certain forms of arthritis. Besides no one on his sounds more hateful than you. Hate comes in many forms. You sound like the biggest bigot of them all, actually.

The LGBT basically has their own economy, otherwise know as the "Pink Dollar". In fact, one American airline was saved by their decision to change their focus to gay customers. That's right - the dirty gays actually SAVED a company from going bankrupt, not to mention brought in huge profits.

Moral of the story? Pepsi... is a huge international company. They have a savy PR department. Do you think they would really risk losing profits by going down the gay route unless they knew they would benefit? Not likely! They know that they will make waaaaaaaay more money raking in the Pink Dollar than they would from fat, surbuban slobs that feed Pepsi to their kids asthough it were water.

Go ahead and boycott - they will financially benefit more from the gays than they ever could from you bigots.

I'll admit it - I'm a Coke addict. I could probably polish off two litres of the liquid sin each and every day. I am not a fan of Pepsi. I don't like the taste and to me, Coke offers a much more satisfying beverage. In fact, the list of liquids I would drink, in order of preference, goes something like this;

1. Coke
2. Water
3. Green Tea
4. Coffee
5. Prune Juice
6. That juice you drain from your can of corn kernels
7. Dog piss
8. Bleach
9. Pepsi

Needless to say, now that I know Pepsi has the audacity to dare support civil rights, I will be guzzling NOTHING but sweet, sweet Pepsi. I will drink it until my teeth rot out, my gut erodes and that damn devil juice turns me into a raving homosexual.

Seriously, get a life people. If your biggest daily concern is that Pepsi paid money into supporting gay people, you REALLY need to reassess your priorities....

It worked with McDonalds, it worked with Gap/Old Navy.

If people take it seriously, and are strong enough to make a stand, it can work with Pepsi!!

Still haven't bought any pepsi products since the boycott started. (not since I realize what's owned by pepsi).

Keep strong. It worked with McDonalds, and boycotts worked with Gap/Old Navy.

Exercise your right as Christians, and consumers. Make your voice heard.

Stay strong!!!

It's not easy keeping up with all the various dastardly doings coming out of Washington. We no sooner get over the shock of one horrible revelation and another story oozes to the top of the bowl.

The information on this guy is especially disturbing to me. His name is Kevin Jennings, and he is Obama's "Safe Schools Czar". The tragic irony of this title will become clear the more you read. And saying that his appointment disturbs me, is putting it mildly. This man is a threat to our children and grandchildren, and in my opinion he poses a bigger threat to America than Van Jones could ever have become. Folks we have to raise hell about this appointment, and here is why...

Jennings founded GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network. It is a not for profit (of course) organization, which has a long list of corporate sponsors, like Eastman Kodak, and Pepsico to mention a few. As it's name implies it works to 'educate' regarding sexuality. and has recommended books for young people which explicitly encourage 'sexual experimentation'.

Excerpts:

Reflections of a Rock Lobster – Pages 13 + 14

(At the age of six, the author played “sex therapist” with a five-year-old friend, and “explored our sexuality to its fullest.”)

One friend I was very close to was Billy Marlen. Billy was a year behind me in school yet we got along well together. In our friendship, a special camaraderie existed that was rare in my other friendships. There was a brotherhood that does not often occur even between brothers. We shared our toys and spent many summer days building sandcastles on the beach. On rainy days I’d walk down to Billy’s house where we spent the day reading books and building racetracks and playing sex therapist in his basement. We were human beings who knew no social inhibitions and were willing to explore our sexuality to its fullest.

….

Passages of Pride – Page 4

(Beginning at the age of five, a young child has sexual encounters with his playmates.)

Throughout his childhood, from age five on, Derek would sneak off with a friend into someone’s basement or the woods along the back alley, where they would take off their pants and play with each other, usually fondling each other’s genitals. It became habitual.

“At that time, I didn’t quite have a name for it,” says Derek. “It was something that I liked doing, that felt good, that I wanted to do as often as I could. The other kids always recognized it as being something bad and dirty. And all I wanted to know was, When can we do it again?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This group has a long history of promoting homosexuality to young people. Michelle Malkin wrote this in 1997, when the group was known as GLSTN:
"– Citizen watchdog exposes Seattle schools’ link to Internet smut. Picture this: Two bare-chested boys embraced in a kiss. A third person, whose face is not shown but is also bare-chested, stands off to the side with his hand on the head of one boy. Below the vivid color photo, which is posted on the Internet home page of a group called “AltKids,” is a caption explaining that the group provides a service “in which gay and bisexual kids can find partners or friends of the same sexual orientation.” To post messages on the site’s “Alternative Connections” page, users must register not just their name and age, but their height, weight, hair color, eye color, address and phone number.
Until last week, after West Seattle citizen activist Linda Jordan and other concerned parents complained to the school board, this on-line “service” was advertised on the “links” section of the National Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Teachers Network (GLSTN). GLSTN provides support to a chapter in Washington state, many of whose members are employed by the Seattle School District’s Sexual Minority Advisory Council. The Council promoted the national GLSTN office’s web site in literature made available to schoolchildren.
Prior to Jordan’s complaint, Seattle students had unlimited access to the GLSTN site and to the smutty AltKids link. After viewing the photos, the district’s legal counsel, Mark Green, contacted the national GLSTN office, which has removed the AltKids link from its site pending further investigation. Green told me that district computer technicians have blocked the site from public school computers. Kudos to Jordan for making the schools safer. But where were all the district’s guardians? What other exploitative materials are children being exposed to in the name of teaching tolerance and self-respect?"
It gets worse. Gateway Pundit reports "In March 2000 the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) organization of Massachusetts held its 10 Year Anniversary GLSEN/Boston conference at Tufts University. This conference was fully supported by the Massachusetts Department of Education, the Safe Schools Program, the Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, and some of the presenters even received federal money. During the 2000 conference, workshop leaders led a “youth only, ages 14-21″ session that offered lessons and 'KITS' in “fisting” a dangerous sexual practice. (sic: "Fisting" is the abhorent practice of inserting one's hand into the rectum of a partner) During the same workshop an activist asked 14 year-old students, “Spit or swallow?… Is it rude?” (sic: ejaculate) Barack Obama’s “Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings is the founder of GLSEN. He was paid $273,573.96 as its executive director in 2007. Jennings was the keynote speaker at the 2000 GLSEN conference.
WHAT IS THIS GUY DOING IN A POSISTION TO ENFLUENCE AMERICA'S SCHOOLS WITH THIS GARBAGE? I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Jennings is also a card carrying member of NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Assoc.) where the seeds of pedophilia bloom!
This company should not be pushing any sexual agendas whatsoever and to do so is a travesty. This one in particular goes against all that moral and natural. 31 times the gay agenda has been voted down. When this gets out to more and more Americans, they will have to take notice. Besides, think of it this way, their products are not good for us anyway.
I have been reading the comments and some of you are reading way to much into this. The bottom line is people aren't asking Pepsi or anyone else to take sides...They're asking Pepsi to stay neutral. I am sure we can't possibly boycott every company who could care less about their customers' requests but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try. It worked with Ford.
I've been boycotting Pepsi (Frito-Lay, Quaker, etc) as well as Campbell's Soup (Peppridge Farms, V8) since 2008. There are many products that I miss purchasing but as a consumer I can freely choose where my money goes. Pepsi has a clear agenda and I choose not to support them as they go against the Word of God.
Boycotting Pepsi is no easy thing! I was a daily Quaker-oatmeal-eating, Tostito-chip-dipping, and Mt. Dew-drinking addicted consumer. It was not easy to switch to other brands, especially because of all of Pepsi's marketing, sales and coupons. But I eventually found some other alternatives that not only taste as good but are healthier for me and my family. Even if I am the only one in Maryland boycotting Pepsi, they've lost big bucks from our family already!
Pepsi isn't selling a soda but promoting homosexuality as its cause. I don't buy products that sell a lifestyle that God clearly shows as a sin. Sin is acting in a way contrary to what the creator intended. It's so simple even past homosexuals that turned to God will attest to it. Even the early Christian church had ex-homosexuals that changed from Satins evil ways. Pepsi is promoting evil in a world that is all filled up with it. Here's a thought Pepsi, promote a strong family and lead your product toward honoring God not angering Him.
