I fostered and trained retired racing greyhounds for almost 3 yrs. The abuse these poor animals receive is appalling. We need more organizations like this one to spread the word about greyhound abuse and adoption. It's amazing how they have so much love after the life to which they were subjected.

Greyhound Gang is a major supporter of Almost Home for Hounds, a rescue in CO run by Dr. Heather Weir. The work she does is amazing.
My husband, Brian and I and our greyhound "Beau" live in Waukesha Wisconsin. With the local greyhound racetrack closing tomorro (Dairyland Greyhound Park), our rescue group is also in need of help. It was recently announced that Dairyland Greyhound Racetrack in Kenosha, Wisconsin, which houses around 900 dogs, will be closing on December 31, 2009. As a result, hundreds of these innocent dogs are at risk of being euthenized if adoptive families can't be found for them.
