The William Pitsenbarger Memorial Statue Fund Project

The Pararescue Association, on behalf of all Pararescuemen past and present, seeks to erect a statue which will serve to humanize the man Bill "Pits" Pitsenbarger and provide motivation to the future candidates for the career field.

The Pitsenbarger statue will be strategically
located at the entrance to the new Pararescue Training Center at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The prototype of the statue is illustrated to the left.

The Pararescue Association seeks corporate
and personal financial assistance to enable
this vision to become reality. The cost of the design and commission is expected to
approach $200,000. Although some modest progress has been made, we are now actively encouraging additional contributions so that this deserved and important recognition can be realized.
