Community Voice Mail is a trusted voice for thousands of vulnerable people. We help restore their sense of human dignity, reduce their isolation and inspire them to make changes.
What would your life be like if you didn't have a phone number? How would you get a job, stay in touch with friends and families, and...participate? Community Voice Mail (www.cvm.org) is a non-profit that provides free voice mail boxes and access to critical information to more than 40,000 people in the U.S. who lack the financial resources to have a phone. We distribute these voice mail boxes through a network of 2,000 social service agencies in 45 U.S. cities. Our clients are actively seeking to improve their lives and they tell us that Community Voice Mail is a critical tool that helps them reach their goals.
1. Everyone needs a phone number to participate in society.
