Children First engages families in the community and through the courts in order to ensure safe, stable nurturing living environments for children in the Athens area.
Children First Administers three main programs:

Athens-Oconee CASA recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers to act as legal advocates for abused and neglected children. CASA advocates speak up for the best interests of children in foster care.

Family Time Community Visitation offers safe, supportive, nurturing supervised visitation for families separated by abuse and neglect. Family Time offers families time to grow and heal, so that they may be succesfully reunited.

SPARC - The Supportive Parenting and Access Resource Center - works with noncustodial parents involved in child support enforcement cases. SPARC works to build bridges between parents and to build the parent-child bond so that noncustodial parents are emotionally and financially supportive of their children.
