safe, stable and nurturing living environments for children.

Vision
A community where child abuse and
neglect has been eradicated and families in crisis keep children first in their decision making and have access to services that will enable a quick return to in home placement, stability, safety and security.

Why Children First?
As a result of growth over the past
several years, we realized that there
was a need for an umbrella organization to accurately represent the variety
of programs and the unique services
that we provide. Children First is now
the umbrella agency administering
three programs: Athens-Oconee CASA, Family Time and SPARC.

2. over 800,000 children will be in fostercare each year in the US

3. All families deserve respect and have strengths on which to build
