About Workers Interfaith Network (of Memphis)

Some of WIN's accomplishments since we were founded in 2002:
- Getting living wage ordinances passed in the Memphis City Council and Shelby County Commission.
- Successfully pressing the Fred's company to respect their workers right to organize. With WIN's support, Fred's workers won their first union contract, including a raise and better benefits.
- Training hundreds of immigrant workers on their rights in the workplace, and enabling dozens of workers to win wages that were owed to them by their employers.

1. Every worker deserves a living wage. WIN spearheaded the Memphis Living Wage Campaign, which has raised the wages of 1000s of workers in our city.
