It is true that the ones we need to be worried about are the ones we dont know about, but as a mother of an almost tween I know we canot contol our childs every move especially if they are independant minded.
It's also true that not every offender is a predator. I actually know a couple people who have to register and I know thier personal story of what happened. Sometimes its statutory rape others its just a misunderstanding and some are just or were just very confused people.
Not all offender need to be killed, whats the lesson there? That our society is just as morbidly corupt as the offenders? Rehabilitation is possible but its a long hard road especially when they were abused as children themselves. Theres a reason children end up as offenders themselves. Think about that one for a minute.

Joe, I agree with you also, most parents now a days use the computer/internet as a baby sitter so they don't have to deal!!!,but let something happen and they will be the fisrt to point a finger at some one else....but lets face it no matter how well you watch your kids and keep track of what they are doing on the internet, there is still ones out there who find a way to slip in and cause damage, which is why I feel this is a great cause....

This is a very important cause to help out. There are children, that are on the internet I have grandchildren that are young, so you can't be to watchful and concerned, I agree with Erica I also agree with Joe Ward.

I agree with Joe Ward on the parents need to take the proper precautions to protect their children... On the other hand, your kids will go to a friend's house and their parents may not be as cautious are we are. You can talk to the parents all you want, but some parents are more concerned with being friends with their kid's friends than being a responsible parent.

i agree with this cause but as in every thing there has to be a point what is to say about the innocense that some r like the girl that was sixteen that sent a pic to her boy friend or the eighteen yr old with his sixteen y old grlfrnd the parents hated him and had him prosucuted and as for me i was caught cheating by girlfriend she said some false alle gations that took me almost 2 yrs. to clear it up in court so how do u r the injust system seggragate the true criminals from the guy who was jacking off in his home and someone walks up and sees and calls the police

to all parents all over the world watch what sites that your children are going into and talk to them and about which sites NOT to go into....i know as a pearent that we can't be watching over our children 24/7 365 but i we have a open relationship with our kids then we have a better chance of STOPPING the sex offenders.

this cause was never relevant. Everyone said "kill em all" you don't know their story, a sex offender doesn't mean they"re sexual 'PREDATORS'. Also if they are offenders they probably aren't spending much time trying to get a second offense. its the people who haven't been caught yet that you need to worry about. Also you need to be a good parent and monitor your children while on the internet. Just think about it
