I just got the cutest note from my aunt, for whom i am participating in the walk for in april.

yes, she calls me squash blossom haha...

My dear squash blossom. I am so honored by your decision to be in a walk in my honor. Thank you!! Not many people know what this disease is or how deadly it is. Not enough research is being done. There is only one drug and that only prolongs life a few months. It seems like someone should be able to figure it all out. (DON'T WORRY, I'M HANGING AROUND A WHILE ..LOL).
Get sponsors to help pay for tee shirts. I am sure there are people I know who will help you. I will send you a list of names sometime this week. A lot of my friends don't even know that I am "sick." I like to think of it as being a bit disabled. I hate being called sick.
I'm proud of you for doing this. Because you are taking something sad and doing a positive thing. Please don't dwell on the negative and learn from it. I'm trying not to. I'm trying to make everyone's life I touch here better for having known me. We'll talk more when you get here!!!
I'm even more proud that you are going to art school. This I am proudest of!!!! I want you to strive to reach your potential and have fun doing it. You are so talented and creative. From there you will be able to make future decisions about where to take your creativity. Most of all I wish for you to be happy. NO SEX TIL YOU ARE 25!!! I sorta mean it. At least until you are 21.
I have to go. I am going to Paia with my friend Geoff, who is a monk..We're going to see his temple and go to Mana Food, the health food store. Maybe go see the surfers.. where Christine loves to go. Love you, Auntie B.
