We have recently launched a Facebook Groups page at: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid... to keep more up to date with our work. The causes application is a great way to support the Delta Institute's mission, feel free to donate through this application anytime!!
Our Halloween sale was a success! Thanks to everyone who helped slay the energy vampires. 110 metric tons of carbon were purchased through Delta Carbon. Now, don't be a turkey - calculate your carbon footprint today and help support the landowners in our program. We'll also be launching our holiday promotion in December, so stay tuned.
Updated: The cause has raised $50.

THE DELTA INSTITUTE: CORDIALLY INVITE YOU TO A COMMUNITY FORUM
REGARDING ISSUES TO DEVELOP THE GREEN ECONOMY
What do people really need to create a green economy? They need a road map, inspirational leadership, credible answers from people with experience and capital to take the first steps.
The Delta Institute is transforming the Chicago area and Great Lakes region into the vital center of an emerging green economy. Delta provides funds and implements programs that integrate environmental, economic and community health to develop a green economy.
Delta will describe its innovative environmentally-based economic development initiatives including highlights of its highly successful Carbon Offset program, Green Purchasing Consortiums and Chicago’s first Rebuilding Exchange materials reuse center.
