Sorry...that photo is of Joshua and Abigael Atieno, who started and lead St. Luke's :)
Just received this email today from Willis at St. Luke's in Nyanza, the westernmost province of Kenya. Nyanza has the highest rates of poverty and HIV/AIDS in the country.
"There is much progress over here. I can't forget to say 1010 project is playing a major role in our society...A good number of orphans will be joining us next year, we are therefore expected to do much since food, accommodation rooms and other facilities will be needed."
Thank you, from Willis, for the life change you are helping us catalyze in Kenya.
The 1010 Project addresses systemic global poverty by creating awareness, initiating action, being advocates and ultimately encouraging participants to become activists in concert with the world’s marginalized.

Time to test the power of Facebook: Can we get 50 investments here on Facebook Cause in the next week?!?!

Did you see the photo I posted of the Youth Challenge Network's new Resource Center? Incredible...alleviating poverty through job opportunities, prolonging life through AIDS prevention.
