NorthWoods’ mission of fostering long-term stewardship of human and natural communities is achieved through the integration of its five program areas: land management, conservation science, education, outdoor recreation, and conservation service.
It is the synergy of these programs that helps create responsible and informed citizens capable of sustaining vibrant communities and a healthier natural environment.
