Respecting children. Engaging families. Encouraging thoughts. Embracing the community. Community Montessori gives children and their families an environment that respects all people and ideas.
We believe in knowing and understanding the individual first and then using that knowledge to support their journey, charting a course through all of our eight constructs of learning: emotional, social, moral, intellectual, wellness, creativity, aesthetics, and “school success”. Academics (“school success”) is only one part of our belief about supporting the whole learner.
Just as Maria Montessori did not design a static curriculum to teach children, our devoted staff has worked diligently to design an educational journey that focuses on the child “having everything within them that they need” (Maria Montessori) to develop. Community Montessori takes this belief about learning and applies it to all our learners.
Following the Montessori core belief system, we provide an environment that respects all people and ideas. Because of our holistic approach to education, learners receive an enriched learning environment where they are supported in their emotional and physical well being as they strive to become self-regulated, internally motivated, life-long learners.
Community Montessori is celebrating 10 years of providing an exceptional choice in education for our community! In the year 2011, we reach our capacity of 600 learners and we graduate our first vibrant young adults. We currently have a waiting list of more than 100 children and teens from our annual lottery for admission.
In order for us to meet our full vision, we need you, someone who cares about the future of our community, country and the education of our children. Together, we can be a catalyst in redesigning education in our community and beyond. With your support, Community Montessori will be a model for other schools and organizations, inspiring them to excellence in decision making based on the needs of children and teens.

5. We need contributions from YOU, someone who feels that we need more and better educational opportunities for our youth.
