Dear All,

My name is kash, I was apart of my first charity event a few months ago for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the most helping the cause and speaking with local business on the importance of donating and in times of economic crisis. What I learned is that everyone is hurting for money right now but its the charities and the people who can't help it nor contributed to our economic condition who are suffering the most. What I am trying to do is get a group of young professionals together in my area who are interested in philanthropy to start making a difference. I would like to start our journey off by helping the North West Arkansas Children's shelter obtain more money to keep running and feed the children. I am new to putting something like this together so if anyone has ideas on how to approach building a team and doing this I would appreciate all the help.
